Company Spotlight - Boomerang

Boomerang makes it easy for retired & semi-retired individuals to explore their passions, learn new skills, and connect with the community through Boomerang workshops. From book clubs & discussion groups to handicrafts & personal finance, Members have access to specially curated workshops for all skill levels. Membership is free & gives exclusive access to sign up for virtual workshops that can be accessed from anywhere in Canada. Members can deepen engagement with the Boomerang community by becoming a Host to share their skills & earn extra income. Boomerang Hosts receive technical support, thorough onboarding, social media exposure & tips for expanding their audience.

Boomerang members are able to connect to beat social isolation, learn new skills and earn a little extra money.

Boomerang is all about tapping into the skills everyone in the community has, and providing an audience to learn those skills. We focus on small, intimate group settings to encourage everyone to create meaningful connections through shared learning experiences.

At Boomerang, learning is about community, social connection, and a sense of personal improvement, not about increasing theoretical knowledge.
